Client Briefing /
Preparation of Search Brief
Working as a team with the client, we analyze the client’s
needs to determine the required set of skills, organizational relationships,
define the required experience and identify the other critical attributes
necessary for the successful candidate.
After assessing the client needs, we typically prepare a detailed search brief
highlighting the position specification. This search brief capture the essence
of the position – the responsibilities of the position, qualification, experience required of the ideal candidate,
and criteria for success.
Drawing the search
plan & Identification of Search Parameters
Upon completion of the Search brief, we
draw up a Search Plan wherein we identify the search parameters and resources
that are available for the client. Based on the client organization and their
requirements, we map the players in the specific industry Segment and identify
the prospective functional resource.
Candidate
Identification / Assessment
The Search Consultant assigned for the
specific assignment gets in touch with the prospective candidates to identify
and confirm commitment of qualified individuals. During which, the consultant
will update the progress to the client. The suitable candidates are evaluated
by the consultant on the basis of their relevant experience, critical
attributes, key success factors and cultural fit desired by the client.
On identifying the suitable candidates, the consultant does an informal
reference check on the candidates before forwarding detailed candidate reports
to the client.
Candidate / Client
Meeting
Upon receiving the shortlist from the
client, the consultant schedules a mutually convenient meeting between the
client and each candidate, and also takes care of the logistics.
After each interview, the consultant takes feedback from both the client and
the candidates.
Formal Reference
Check
Once the client selects the final candidate,
the consultant contacts individuals who are capable of providing insights about
the candidate’s qualifications / experience, capability and on the softer
aspects. The feedback received from the references is integrated into a
reference check report and is shared with the client. As a backup strategy, the
consultant has the client identity another backup candidate, who is the next
best fit and nurture the relationship till the search assignment is
successfully closed.
Completion of the Search
As the search comes to a close, if required, the consultant can assist in drafting the final offer compensation package and assists in offer negotiation. Once the successful candidate accepts the offer, the consultant follows up with the client and the candidate on a periodic basis to ensure final closure.
* There will be 3-month guarantee period provided by I.M.K. Human Resource Services commencing on the date the appointee joins your company. In the event that the appointee is asked to leave or resign within that period, we will find a replacement at no extra charge or to conduct an additional search that is of the same grade and in the same site at no charge on your organization.*
